Why a day pass exists
Most people who need recording or Event Mode need it for a specific thing on a specific day. A conference. A launch video. One Sunday where the usual operator is away. Charging a monthly subscription for that is a bad deal, so we don't. Pay $4.99, use everything for 24 hours, and go back to the free prompter afterwards with no cancellation to remember.
If you shoot every week, the annual plan is obviously cheaper than buying day passes. That is the whole calculation, and you can do it yourself.

What is the Day Pass?
Twenty-four hours of full Pro for $4.99. It exists for the shoot you have this week, not the subscription you would forget to cancel.
Does ScrollCue have a monthly subscription?

How does access work if there is no account?
After checkout you enter the name you paid with, and ScrollCue generates a code tied to that name and an expiry date. You paste the code into the app. That is the whole system, which is why there is nothing for us to store about you.
How does payment work?
Stripe handles it. Your card details go to Stripe and never touch ScrollCue.
