You read into the lens, not off to one side
The usual problem with a solo shoot is that the script is somewhere the camera is not. Your eyes go there, the camera sees it, and the video looks like what it is. ScrollCue puts your live camera feed behind the scrolling text with an adjustable dim, so the words sit over your own face. You are looking at the script and at the lens at the same time, which is the entire trick a broadcast prompter performs with a sheet of angled glass.
The script ends up in the video
This is the part people do not expect. When you record, the script is composited into the file, current word highlighted. How a take works
