Scrolling and pacing

• Smooth scroll — GPU-accelerated, with speed easing so it ramps in and out instead of jerking. Live, Normal, and Fast presets, plus a fine slider from 10 to 240 px/s.
• Scroll wheel control — change speed mid-roll on desktop without stopping.
• Word-accurate highlight — the current word tracks in reading order as it crosses the cue line, even with mixed text sizes.
• Live remaining time — recalculates as you change speed, so you always know how long is left.
• Drag to scrub — grab the script and move through it. Keyboard shortcuts for play, pause, and fullscreen.

Script and structure

• Rich markup — bold, italic, bigger, smaller, coloured text, section markers, and presenter notes. Full syntax reference.
• Section jumps — mark a heading with ## and jump to it instantly, with a live indicator showing where you are.
• Presenter notes — anything in double brackets floats above the script for you only. Never appears in a recording.
• In-place editor — crossfades over the stage rather than opening a modal, with a markup toolbar and a word count.
• Import — paste, upload a .txt or .md file, or drop in a Google Drive share link.

Display

• Cue line — arrow, line, or glow, positioned anywhere between 15% and 75% of the screen height.

• Red dim mode — adjustable strength, for dark stages where a white screen would blind everyone.

• Zen mode — thirty seconds of rolling untouched and every control fades away, leaving the words and a progress hairline.
• Wake lock — the screen will not sleep on you halfway through a read.

Everything persists

• Your script, colours, speed, font, cue position, and every other preference survive a restart.
• All of it is stored in the browser on your device, not on a server.

Recording and camera

• One-tap takes — your camera appears behind the script and recording starts immediately. You read straight into the lens. More on recording.
• Script composited into the video — the words you are reading are burned into the recording with the current word highlighted, which makes finding your place in the edit trivial.
• Takes manager — opens the moment you stop, showing duration and file size. Save or delete. Everything stays local.

• Voice Follow — the script follows your voice, fuzzy-matching what you say so accents and stumbles do not throw it. More on Voice Follow.
